Born in Halifax, Canada, Peter J. Atwood grew up in Ottawa and Winnipeg, where he co-founded a literary press and began a career as an editor and publisher. He now lives and writes in Beijing, China, on leave from his position with the Government of Canada. The transition years found him living in Toronto, Seoul, Cairo, Ottawa, and Kathmandu where he worked, at times, as a literary agent, a senior book editor, a Web editor, and a bureaucrat. His stories have appeared in Apex Magazine, Weird Tales, and on the Drabblecast podcast.
